MEET THE TEAM

Craig Haase

Head Coach

Craig Haase enters his 21st season as head coach of the Arrowhead Boys Basketball team. Coach Haase is 343 - 140 and has helped lead the program to incredible success including 7 Classic 8 Conference Championships, 10 WIAA Regional Championships, 3 WIAA Final Four appearances, 1WIAA State Runner Up 2017, and 1 WIAA State Championship in 2010! Coach Haase was the JV head coach, Freshmen head coach, and a Varsity assistant at Arrowhead previous to becoming head coach. Coach Haase graduated from Lawrence University in 1993 where he was captain and set the single season assist record. Coach Haase was a 3 year varsity letter winner in basketball at Arrowhead from 1986-1989.

Dave Conway

Varsity Assistant Coach

Dave Conway enters his 31st season of coaching in the Arrowhead Boys Basketball Program. For the past 21 seasons Coach Conway has been an assistant coach at the Varsity level. Coach Conway graduated from D. C. Everest High School in 1973. At DCE he played Football, Basketball, and Baseball, lettering in all three. He graduated from San Diego State in 1977 with Distinctions In Mathematics earning a BA with a Mathematics Major. The following year as a graduate student at SDSU he was certified to teach Mathematics in grades K - 13. He also has a Masters in Education from The University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Coach Conway retired from teaching in 2010, after 32 years of teaching at Arrowhead High School.

Coached basketball at AHS on various different levels from 1992 - present (25 seasons)
Coached football at AHS on various different levels from 1993 - present (24 seasons)

John Hoch

Varsity Assistant Coach

John Hoch enters his 9th season as an assistant coach with the varsity basketball team. He is a former alumni who played for Coach Haase and the Arrowhead staff from 2002-2006. He was a member of the 2006 Arrowhead basketball team that made it to the state semi-finals. Coach Hoch was named All-State after his senior season. During his time in high school, he also played football, track, and baseball. Coach Hoch played basketball at Carroll University from 2006-2010. While at Carroll Coach Hoch was named 1st Team All-Midwest Conference, Midwest Conference Player of the Year, Academic All-American, National Player of the Year finalist, two different All-American teams and an NCAA Division III senior all-star game participant. Coach Hoch last year also made it to the final cuts for the Milwaukee Bucks G league team the WI Herd.

Mark Leoni

   -Played basketball (2 year Varsity letter winner), baseball (3 year Varsity letter winner, All-Conference (2 years), All-State, Captain), soccer (3 year Varsity letter winner, Captain) and golf

Mathematics Teacher at Arrowhead High School since 2001
Mathematics and History Teacher at Hartford Central Middle School (1996-2001)
